Bauhaus

The influence of Bauhaus on Bankrobber’s design was almost unsaid by us.. The Bauhaus movement championed simplicity and functionality, stripping away excess to create designs that were both useful and beautiful.
That was key to the design of our dresses. Perhaps their philosophy - the idea that design should be both functional and aesthetically refined, removing unnecessary ornamentation in favor of clarity, was a way for us to find the key to Bankrobber’s aesthetic..
And modern architecture informed even more, as we stumbled upon the Corbusier building for our photo shoot. The contrast of colours to our black and white.. All the time, both the simplicity and newness of that architectural design matched what we hoped we could achieve.
